As with all our website's pages, these photos are Newport Valley Shorthorn cows, past and/or present. The purpose of our website is to show you the quality of our herd which has remained strong for more than 60 years. Our cows have produced award-winning show calves, replacement heifers, and many fabulous herd sires. See also Moms with Babies (Cows with Calves) photos. NOTE: We have many old cows in our herd, because they are outstanding mothers who keep producing. Our cows typically remain in strong shape with fine calves, to Age 16 or more.
